So I z'ed the frame 1.5 and now the steering rod wont go into the box. I need a lil help on how to put a u-joint into the column so I can put everything back together. Anyones insight would be appreciated.

It depends on the style of column. On Toyotas the shaft is exposed and easy to deal with, S10s too. I have had to cut the housing away to get a U joint on before as well.

The shaft is completely exposed but I just dont know what I am doing so I am looking for help. So far you are the only one that has even replied about it. I have tried other forumns and no one even tries to help. Thanks

It's hard to say without seeing it. You might be able to get away with one joint at the firewall. But you may need two joints to make it work. If you put one at the firewall and one at the steering box I like to eliminate the rag joint by bolting a plate to the steering box and using a weld on U-joint there. If you run two joints you need to support it in the middle. They make over sized rod ends for this purpose. Speedway has everything you need.
